Karma has nothing to do with how you act in this life, its predicated entirely on the concept of reincarnation and is the weight of transgressions from your past lives. quite honestly i can say almost exactly what my transgressions were, its easy to tell when you look at the parts of my life that dont work out. since i'm certain of the truth of reincarnation i have no problem with karma. and the point isnt to just keep going, but instead to perservere so that one can find transcendence, in order to do that one must first atone for all their past transgressions, now i get the feeling that you'll want to know who decides what is a transgression and what would be the best method for karma to manifest itself, the easy answer is "you do" just think about what someone would do to deserve it all and thats what you did in a former life, or several lives, we dont acquire all our karma in just one life, and we dont get rid of it all in just one life either. ya just gotta grit your teeth and bear it. the only honest advice is, dont take on someone else's karma for them, never take on more than you can handle, it doesnt help them in the long run because then they never learn how to handle things for themselves and it puts more weight on your shoulders, they say that god never gives you more weight to bear than you can handle, and i agree with that, but we often take on other people's weight as well. ah well, i think this has been rambly enough, so i'll go and take a nap now, philosophizing always makes me sleepy.
No, and I understand all of that. I don't do good things in order to expect something back, either. I just want something for once to go right for me, because nothing EVER does.
