She's kissing him with reckless abandon, she shouldn't be doing this, she can't be doing this, she's going to lose her job if anyone finds out and she can't stop. Seifer's hand sweeps across her desk and she hears her coffee mug slam against the floor--carpet, it doesn't break but it makes a hell of a mess--and she's sitting on top of her desk calendar as he slides his hands up her legs.
There's a pause where she has to grab a sheaf of forms before he can hurl them to the ground--it took her two hours to get them done and she can't let him destroy that work. It's in that moment, when she's sliding them into the drawer, that Irvine's voice floats through the door and Seifer's suddenly on the other side of the room.
Quistis smooths her skirt and fixes her hair. It's not enough, but she can't risk her work over Seifer Almasy, and so she gets off her desk and unlocks the office door.
