A couple of us went out last night and took in part of the meteor shower, and "shooting stars" are one of those things that still make me feel like a kid. The years sort of just shed away when you're pointing, oohing and awing. Nothing like a fallow wheat field in the middle of nowhere for a total lack of light pollution at midnight on a Sunday.
Watched Season 2 of Weeds on Blu-Ray this weekend, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I thought even with the cliff hanger that this season had more humor than the first, and it was hugely educational...
Also took the motorcycle for a couple hour ride on Saturday, and another couple on Sunday. I need to pack as much sunlight into my frame as possible before it flees here in the arctic. Have I mentioned my sincere desire to flee south as soon as possible?
A friend of mine turned me on to a wonderful website, pandora.com , which is a free radio station online where you put an artist or a song into and then it extrapolates other music you'd like. So it's a custom radio station. For me. It introduced me to a new artist called Joshua Radin. It's so damn cool. Hope all is well with all.
