Less than 2 years from retirement, FBI Special Agent Will Piper gets thrown on to the elusive Doomsday Case, one assignment that he resented his boss from giving him. The Doomsday case seem unsolvable and a lot of work, not something Will wanted to do for his last days at work. 8 victims received postcards in the mail with a nothing but a picture of a coffin and a date.
What will didn't know, is that his final case would bring him face to face with an ancient secret that could change the way people think about life and death.

I really liked this book! I got it on sale on a whim and I'm really glad I did. It was a page turner mystery thriller that kept me on the edge on my toes. The only beef I had with it was that the beginning followed the stories of 4 or 5 different characters that for a while made it a bit hard to follow, but after I got all the facts, it was really good! I highly recommend this to anyone that likes mysteries.
