ATTN: Techy Friends
I've been wanting to build a new system for a long while, hopefully I'll have the money for it by the time this school year starts. I'm going to use my current case, 320 GB WD SATA hard drive, monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers. Everything else is going to be turned into a dev-box/file-server (like I've been wanting to have running since last summer).
What do you guys think of the plan?
Note: I have no intention of spending more than $1,400. I know some of these parts could be better (FX-62 omg), but I'm not made of money. If you know I could get a better deal on something or there's something that I'm just flat out making a poor choice on, I'd appreciate a heads up.
