Our internet connection seemed to be working very well after we got the temp line installed. Until last night. Not sure what's going on with that, but I'm hoping it's just general RR network problems and not just things sucking for my house. Hopefully things will be better today

Don't worry, if they're that bad their (now) two months of progression you're missing out on will just be relearning Curator half a dozen more times :P

Hahaha. I was more worried about guilds that were starting on Gruul and the like progressing for another couple of months than my current guild progressing for a few months without me. Most of them need a few months to catch up to me anyway.

App to one of the higher guilds honestly, don't wait for people to catch up to you, aim to pass yourself in gear with the guild you are looking at.

As long as you have a pretty strong raiding concept, with good gear, all your heroic keys, and have started your serpenspire cavern (sp) quest line, you're golden.

That's what I was doing with Sad Panda. I was above a lot of their Warlocks, but they were doing the stuff I want/need to be doing: Kara - Gruul. I haven't started the SSC quest line yet, but that's more just not having the motivation because my current guild is nowhere near ready for it.

Again, apping a really high-end guild leaves me with the problem of not having time for it. I would like to be in an outstanding guild, but I know I can't presently make the commitment required of me to do that. I'm perfectly willing to settle for a guild that just knows what they're doing and is making progress instead of bashing their head against a small wall like it's actually something difficult.

I do see where you're comming from. I wish I had time to play WoW again, I just don't want to get sucked into that commitment.....

Good advice though. That is basically what I've told him to do. And like he said the major problem is the lack of availability to commit to more progressed/successful guilds. :'(
