I nominate Ally-san to answer this question.
Anyway.
Yesterday was just a day of major ups and downs. It was just a whole slew of bipolarness and I was extremely affected by everything around me . . .
Woke up feeling icky and miserable, since I'm still having sleep troubles (not as bad as over the holidays though) and my YOWLING CAT had helped matters in no way. Came to school just as icky and miserable, went to Vocal class. New Vocal teacher.
AMAZING SUPER AWESOME CLASS.
Love new Vocal teacher. Best class I've had at this school since I've been here.
Went to English class. Mildly bored, had to plan out an essay. Slowly sinking into general tiredness, kept a bit alive by Friends discussion.
Lunch. Lunch is always, always good. Lucas cheered me up considerably.
French. French always, always sucks. Had bitchy substitute again (can't Madame get a different sub?), felt soul being sucked out.
Civics. Civics is a pointless class that I can have no respect for, particularly since it only counts for half a credit. Had a sub for this class, too, though not the bitchy one. GIANT WORK PERIOD. Barely finished work. Ended up answering one question as, "I don't know, why don't you tell me?"
Had to hand work in . . .
Came out of class very bored.
End of school, after school Triple Trio practice. Triple Trio is ALWAYS good, though I'm sick of singing Alto when I'm OBVIOUSLY an S2 in three parts (though ALTO 1 FOREVER in four parts . . . which I'll get to later). We're doing Lift Thine Eyes, too, which means learning a whole new part, and only Madeleine of the S2's showed up and since she can't sight-read at all I was basically dying to break out the S2dom.
Still. Petty Harbour's going to ROCK!
Will now be going in early mornings on Tuesdays for Triple Trio, and after school Tuesdays will be Chamber Choir.
Tuesdays have become:
7:00 Triple Trio
8:00 Regular school vocal
14:30 Chamber Choir
18:00 AYS
19:30 AYWE
20:30 Prima
21:45 End
STUPID SINGING!
After practice, logged onto the school computer, did a quick FP check. A lovely low set in, though the high was there when I saw the boards back to normal . . .
Grandma picked me up, hung out at her house as usual, ate, watched judge shows, etcetera. Went to choir.
New repertoire! Nothing too shabby except WHERE HAVE ALL THE FLOWERS GONE. WHY ARE WE SINGING THIS SONG? IT WAS BAD ENOUGH IN SCHOOL.
New Estonian song=Gorgeous.
Apparently, the 2010 trip is going back to the drawing board. Have a feeling Brenda's going to put in another city. Probably someplace a bit more obvious.
If it's Australia, there could be problems. Italy, however . . .
AYWE after AYS, of course. Brenda's moved me down to A2 in this group because a couple of A2s are "vocally unavailable" now.
What?
A2????????
IN AYWE????????
Doing Panta Rhei in AYWE. Talked to Brenda about it, and she gave me a pitying look. Learned that I needed to learn ALTO TWO PART TO THIS SONG. IT WAS HARD ENOUGH LEARNING ALTO ONE. WHY WOULD I LEARN A WHOLE NEW PART????
Fortunately . . .
Erica was singing A2 two years ago, and now she's A1. She offered to switch with me for Panta Rhei.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Somehow got home half an hour late. Why?
Don't know.
All in all, a day of ups and downs.
Now?
Bus cancellation.
I'm at home all day.
Going to bed.
