So a few days ago I participated in a Tumblr bomb. Basically, there's this website that allows people against the gay marriage bill in New York to send an automated message to the Republican Senators, urging them to vote against the bill. The email is editable, so a bunch of us changed it to something in support of the bill. Thing is, I'm getting newsletters from this website now. You can imagine the kind of right-wing bullshit I've come across.
Something that made me laugh today:
Besides the fact that there is no respect for grammar in this paragraph, do they really think that bringing up Iowa for the sake of an argument is going to convince anyone?
It's Iowa.
In other news, since classes officially ended on Wednesday I have basically been lounging about the house doing nothing. My Writer's Craft exam was in-class, and since Vocal doesn't have an exam and I had a spare first period, I only have my String exam to worry about. And that's not until Tuesday. And half of it is music theory, which I already know like the back of my hand. So I pretty much just have to get ready for music history.
Which means I need to get a life sometime soon because this is going to get old fast.
EDIT:
Um, since we're taking screenshots . . .
To study for our String exam, Mardi Gras gave us the link to a website that has quizzes about music history. Basically the entire music history portion is made up of questions on this website. I have to ask: Is this question going to be on the exam?
How is this relevant.
