also, the other day, when lolscubadiver and i were having our gas-station picnic by the river (♥♥♥) i mentioned how i don't think i saw the california flag once while i was there, and driving from my apartment to hers, i saw about 5 texas flags, most within viewing distance of each other.
which led to an attempt to even remember what any other state flag looks like.
