Wow, bad timing.
I am sitting at the house, waiting for mom to get back from the grocery store. I left the campaign office to return mom's car to her so that we could go get mine from the shop. Good plan, yes? I really should've called first. Now I'm sitting here, twiddling my thumbs. Oops.
But the heart of the matter is that my car is in the shop. This is the dumbest thing ever, but you're all going to agree that it's totally something I'd do to myself. Only me. . . I went to the bank around one o'clock, and this is a parking lot I'm in a lot. I know there are speed bumps, and I know where they are. But I was in a daze or something, and I drove over one going way too fast. Well, the undercarriage of my car hit the bump going faster than a person should over such an intrusion. I thought I was okay, though, so I went ahead and parked. I walked around the car to make sure none of the tires had taken hits (they hadn't), so I went inside the bank.
As I was pulling out of the space later, I noticed there was a bright green lake in the spot where my car was, so I spazzed and called my mom, who met me at the car shop. I didn't overheat on the way there, but you guess it, I was losing antifreeze.
I ended up needing a new water pump. Great, huh?
