SMASHING PUMPKINS ENTER STUDIO FOR FIRST TIME IN SIX YEARS
The official SMASHING PUMPKINS Web site reveals that the band has
entered the studio with QUEEN producer ROY THOMAS BAKER to begin work on its
first album since 2000's "MACHINA/The Machines of God." A full band
lineup has not yet been announced -- so far, frontman BILLY CORGAN and
drummer JIMMY CHAMBERLIN are the only original members involved in the
project.
