Yes, as I was reading the paper today I thought, "darn, if I went I could've scored a hideous lime green hat as a memento of fun times". Meh!

And that night-time hat with the flashlight was far more novelty and snazzy. Great when you're trying to look for a garment in the dark or for that final roll of toilet paper at 2am.
