happy!
Today was a good day. Warm, sunny, two lectures ended today and the following three things happened:
1. absolutbritish told me she heard a rumour, that Stargate Atlantis is starting up soon. And it does, on July 11th. So soon! Incredible, I just didn’t expect that. Now at least there is something after Dr. Who.
2. absolutbritish and I went to the cinema to watch The Happening. We had seen the trailer and knew that we had to see that movie, it seemed to put scary on a whole new level. The opening titles were promising and the beginning is just so.. scary, awful and …..good. It is a brilliant movie and exactly on our wavelength, same category as Day After Tomorrow. If you haven’t seen The happening yet, go and watch it, you wont regret it. There are some scary scenes and one really horrible (when the kids try to get into the house, prepare yourself!), but the whole movie is just so awesome, brilliant, fantastic! Even the end is good and coherent.
3. And I’m sooooooooooooooooooooooo happy. Before the movie started there were trailers. I was talking to absolutbritish and not really paying attention until the screen went dark and I heard: “Scully?” “Mulder?” OMG! I had a major squee-attack and couldn’t calm myself for some time, even had to squee into the titles of the movie, though they were so good that they quickly drew my whole attention and that is saying something! (did I already say: Watch that movie!)
But OMG! I just didn’t expect or even think that there would be a X-File trailer. It’s still more than a month. How can a simple thing like that make me so happy? I LOVE those guys! Though I think Doggett is not in it. And what did I hear about the UN? Are Mulder and Scully or one of them, probably Mulder, now working for the UN? How is it all possible? I mean Mulder was in big trouble at the end of the series. And they are not allowed to mess up the relationship! I love the title of the movie: I want to believe. This sentence is just X-Files. Everything is in that one sentence. Oh, I can’t wait! I want to see. And they are not allowed to mess up the relationship! I’m a bit freaked because in the trailers you hear: M: I need you on this, Scully. S: And that’s what scares me.
I don’t even know if those two sentences are in the same scene or not. But just the first is enough to worry me a bit. of course he needs her, but there should be no need for him to say it because she is always there for him and always with him. Did I already say they are not allowed to mess up that relationship!?! And in one trailer Scully says “I don’t want to chase monsters in the dark anymore.” I’m obsessing, I know, but she sounds so …resigned. Like it his fault and that she is starting to blame him or something. Do not mess with that relationship, seriously! I can’t take it. At least one of the tv-relationships that I wanted to happen so badly and that finally, finally did happen, must stay ok. forever and ever.
