Three sentences about 2017-02-26

Travel day! Jim made pancakes in the morning, which I ate way too many of, but that is probably ok. :^) (It is not, technically, ok by my current plan, which calls for skipping the long fast only once every two weeks, and I'd already had a big pancake breakfast a few days previously. But man, pumpkin pancakes and maple syrup, it's pretty hard to resist. Anyway, Amy then put on her Packing Captain hat, and got us all ready to go, while I ... lounged around and napped, which it now occurs to me might have been related to the huge breakfast, hmm. In any case, we then made it to the airport in plenty of time, flew to LAX without incident, enjoyed dinner in the airport during our 3+ hour layover, landed at BOS at 06:00 local time, and were home by 07:00. Which turned out to be in time for me to run to the Stop & Shop for milk, feed Junie breakfast, make her lunch, and pack her off to school, before heading to work myself.
