Aw heck, here are some more pictures. These are of the 2 projects that will hopefully be done within a few weeks. What's a blog without in-progress pictures, anyway? They make the finished project all the better!

Sorry if this one is a bit out of focus. I have a very unsteady hand, and this was the best of the several I took from this distance yesterday. On the bottom is the back of Rhapsody in Brown, and on top is the front, in progress. Obviously they're unblocked, and will be much wider after blocking. The yarn is Cascade Eco Wool, in the darkest color. There is a dye lot on the band, but I'm unsure of how they came up with it, as the yarn is not dyed. (It's the color of sheep!) As I pondered in a knitting post a few months ago, I wonder if they really mean "sheep lot". By the way, I've been experiment with spit splicing for R.I.B. There was one place I didn't do it because I was too lazy to get water, and didn't want to use actual spit. But I just used it to join the last ball, and really like the whole no-ends thing. I may use it for the fair isle vest, as it is a cardigan vest and steeked up the front. You join new colors in the steek stitches, so the messy color change with spit splicing wouldn't be visible (I hope) in the finished vest.

Here is a closeup of the R.I.B. cables, more in focus. Pretty, eh? I love this pattern.

And here is the big one. It's an Elizabeth I sweater shot, but only of s shoulder seam. Probably boring to most, but I'm very proud of that seam. Only 2 more shoulder seams, a collar, the sleeve seams, and side seems to go. *sigh* (And that is what I meant by "painfully close" to done, yesterday. In the life of this sweater, that is sadly painfully close to done.)
