The beginning of the OZX craze, which started out as an Omega/Zero, then branched off... These haven't really been beta'd so to speak, but I hope you enjoy either way. Behind a cut due to length.
Dammit, dammit, dammit, dammit it all.
“Remember when I asked you not to do anything crazy again?” Ciel asked from her work bench, pointing her screw driver at him. “This qualifies.”
“Bite me, Ciel,” Zero snapped back, making her recoil slightly at his tone. “It’s my original body, my original memories; I can’t help it that, yeah, I do feel attachment to it!”
Ciel harrumphed before throwing the tool down into her box and shut it with a vengeful slam. “Well, there isn’t a damn thing I can do. The ‘Omega’ entity isn’t a chip or part-it’s a full on Reploid program system. I’d have to wipe your body clean, which would, in essence, delete your memories anyway. As it is, I got him defragging, so maybe we can extract the memories then… well, get rid of him.” She glared at the Reploid on her bench, the mirror image of Zero with darker red armor.
Zero waved her off. “Fine. I’ll watch him.”
“You sure? He’s shut down, so-”
“He’s dangerous and my responsibility, so I’ll watch him. Go nap, take a bath, whatever the hell you humans do to relax.”
Ciel huffed again, stomping out of the lab and slamming the door in obvious displeasure. She, and the rest of the Resistance, were not happy that Zero hobbled back into their base carrying the Devil Reploid in his arms and demanding he’d be fixed. In truth, Zero had no idea why he saved Omega either-the Guardians, and X, all were right in that he should die regardless of what he had was what Zero wanted.
Zero glared down at the unconscious Reploid, at the mirror image of himself, the face that was his. “You bastard, I should have let you rot.”
Omega didn’t reply, and Zero harrumphed before throwing himself into a nearby computer chair, content to glare at his original body for the next several hours.

Zero sprang to his feet, hand on his saber the instant he heard Omega move. His eyes trained on his original body, watching him twitch as the defrag completed and rebooted the monster. Zero pulled the saber handle free of its sheath in his thigh when Omega groaned, and his eyes opened. When he turned his head to look at Zero, Zero had to think to himself if he really had red eyes or not.
Instead of leaping at him, like Zero expected, Omega simply sat up and looked around, obviously confused. Zero did not relax at all, even as Omega lifted his hands and scrubbed at his eyes before looking around again.
“… oi,” Zero muttered, and Omega’s head snapped to look at him again. “Don’t just sit there.”
Omega stared at him, and Zero could almost see the tiny print of lightning-fast information trying to process. The red-eyed blond squinted at him, but no matter what he did, an error presented itself to him.
Finally Omega opened his mouth, and Zero was shocked to hear him speak, “Where am I?”
The voice was the same as when they did battle in that abandoned lab, the same voice that proclaimed him some sort of messiah. Yet now, without Zero’s synthetic battle adrenaline pumping through him, it impacted him hard. There were similarities between their voices, yet Omega’s was a much more… deeper tone. It was Zero’s original voice.
“Resistance Base. Do you know who you are?”
“Code name Omega. Objective lost.”
“Well,” Zero breathed, dropping his saber back into its sheath, “Isn’t that bloody convenient.”
Omega’s eyes ran over Zero several times before looking down at himself. “Are we meant to be brothers or some sort?”
“No.” the very thought of being related to such a monster made Zero want to vomit, really.
“Who is our creator?”
“You and I are not related in any such way,” Zero growled, and Omega glanced curiously at him. “Regardless of how similar we look.”
Omega narrowed his eyes at Zero’s tone. “Than what do you want with me?”
Oh, this is really ficking great! “You don’t recall a damn thing?”
“Recent memory files corrupted,” Omega reported. “Attempt to restore them may result in total memory wipe.”
“Don’t restore them then,” Zero snapped. Don’t you dare erase my memories! “Just… damn it. Follow me.”
Omega got up from the table and dutifully followed Zero out, his behavior only making Zero more annoyed and on edge.

Naturally when the Base saw Omega up and walking around, without even basic restraints, they were in an uproar. To his credit, Omega didn’t try anything aggressive, simply staring at those screaming at him as if expecting them to shoot their own heads off. In all reality, Zero thought some would.
“C’mon,” Zero grabbed Omega’s elbow as he was looking at this old Reploid who threatened him with his cane. “We don’t have time for this.”
“You’d think I kicked his puppy in the nuts,” Omega mumbled as Zero pulled him through several doors.
“Let’s say you’ve done worse.”
“Oh, so I kicked him in the nuts?”
Somehow in the span of ten minutes from leaving the lab to get to Ciel’s office, Omega went from a confused, freshly ‘born’ Reploid to a sarcastic jerk-face. Zero wasn’t sure if that was his real personality, or something Omega just was under the insane ‘God of Destruction’ Weil made him to be.
Zero shoved Omega first into the office, a small, satisfied smirk coming to his face when he heard Ciel shriek in surprise and horror before he stepped in. When she saw him, Ciel collapsed back into her chair, clutching at her chest.
“That isn’t funny, Zero!” Ciel protested when Zero still wore the smirk.
“Sure it was.” Zero again shoved Omega forward, earning a glare from his original body. “As you can see, he’s functioning, but there are issues.”
“Yeah, and?”
“And… see if they can be fixed. One way or another.”
Omega huffed. “And I don’t get a say in this?”
“No,” Zero grabbed his shoulders and guided him to a nearby bench, “you don’t get a damn say.”
The glare Omega gave him made Zero’s pulse quicken, so alike the hate-filled look from their battle, but the original said nothing more and laid down on the bench.
For the next several hours, Ciel tinkered with Omega, who refused to shut down despite the fact the human girl was more or less messing with his insides. Instead, he kept staring at Zero, who stared back from his post against the wall.
By the time Ciel declared Omega more or less harmless ‘for now’ Zero was feeling exhausted. He actually felt like passing out on Ciel’s office couch, but he knew better than to leave Omega alone. For all he knew, this was a damn good charade, if the monster really was capable of thinking that way. Instead, Zero grabbed Omega again by his elbow and dragged him through the Base again, with even more people causing uproar, back to his room.
Zero locked his door with both locks and his computerized one. If Omega tried to get out, he would know immediately. He glanced at his mirror image, who was now looking around his room in both boredom and curiosity. Zero removed his helmet, shaking his hair out.
“You sit there,” Zero pointed at a nearby couch. “Books are under it. Read, day dream, nap, I don’t care. I am going to rest. You’ll not leave this room, understood?”
Omega frowned as Zero climbed into his recharging pod. “What have I done, Zero?”
“Let me say this much,” Zero muttered before reaching for the lid of the pod. “You seriously don’t want to know unless you remember something.” With that, he closed it and laid down, closing his eyes.
Omega snorted and flopped onto the couch, glaring at Zero the entire time.

“You’re being reckless, keeping him alive,” X’s voice whispered in his head.
The dream-version of Zero snorted. “I know, I already got the talk from Ciel. I don’t need it from you too, schätzchen.”
X appeared in his small cyber-elf form in Zero’s dream, fluttering around his head in an almost agitated state. “I’m sorry if you’re mad at me for not telling you,” he said. “But if this is your idea of getting me back…”
“I never do things to get back at you, X, and you know it.” Zero lifted his hand, and the little ball of light rested in his palm. With his other hand, he lovingly stroked it. “But I want my memories back. I want to remember us before this lifetime, remember all these people you tell me of. But, aside from that, are you okay doing this? I know that…”
“I have enough energy to last a year, so long as I don’t do anything drastic.” X said. “But we are not tossing this topic aside. He may seem harmless now, but he is dangerous, Zero. I’d rather you never fully remember than to possibly lose you again…” his glow dimmed.
Zero brought the little ball of light to his lips. “Don’t worry, schätzchen, you’ll never lose me again.”
The little ball of light lifted from his palms to the air in front of him, and X materialize his larger form. Immediately he piled into Zero’s waiting arms and curled up in his lap. Zero sighed, a bit saddened that only in their connected dreams could he actually feel X’s body.
“I miss us.” X said. He suddenly blushed, and Zero glanced down at him in confusion.
“Schätzchen?” the blond asked, worried.
“N-nothing… just… if Omega tries anything and you can’t help it… I.. I won’t get mad, cause I understand that it’s just a part of you we never figured out and…”
“X, what in the world are you going on about?”
X simply cuddled closer to him, closing his eyes. “… Nothing. I’m just being silly.”
“Oh no, you don’t. Don’t hide anything more from me, schätzchen. Tell me.”
“W-well…”
The dream was ripped apart, and Zero’s eyes snapped open back to the real world in alarm. His heart thudded hard against his chest and he tried to bolt up, and only succeeded in breaking the kiss Omega had locked him in. Both blonds froze, Omega perched on top of Zero, straddling his waist as Zero was supported by his elbows, eyes wide and staring.
A heartbeat later found Omega on the floor, flat on his back with Zero snarling above him and fighting the black-eyed blond from strangling him, their hands linked and pressing against each other.
“What,” Zero yelled, “the hell do you think you’re doing?!”
“What?” Omega asked, rather innocently, which unnerved Zero to no end that he could do that. “You were practically puckering up in your sleep; I figured I’d indulge you.”
“You… you…” Zero was nearly shaking as he struggled harder to choke Omega. Why the hell did he let this sick freak live? “Du drecksack! I’ll kill you!”
“Oh, shove it,” Omega growled. “You were enjoying it just fine!” he pushed back against Zero, and the wrestle match only grew in intensity.
They grunted with effort to overpower the other, but they stayed at a shivering standstill, staring intensely at each other. If he could free his hand, Zero could reach for his saber and slice off that asshole’s head so fast…
“Why so flustered, Zero?” Omega asked. “It’s just a kiss!”
“I’m more pissed off,” Zero scowled, “that you touched me at all!”
Omega frowned. “What? You’ve been constantly touching me all day!”
“Not in that manner, arschloch!”
Omega grinned, almost lopsidedly. “Maybe not, but I figured you wouldn’t mind. What? You said we weren’t related.” When Zero bared his teeth at him, Omega pushed up against him again, pushing Zero back far enough so he could sit up. “Beruhigen, Zero.”
Zero’s eyes narrowed at him. It shouldn’t shock him that, being his original form, Omega’s default language was also the same as his. Yet somehow, German sounded strange coming from Omega, perhaps because it was Zero’s original voice.
“I have no reason to be calm,” Zero snapped. “You kissed me… when I told you to stay over there!” he jerked his head toward the couch.
“So that’s why you’re so mad? It’s not that I kissed you… it’s that I didn’t do what you said?” Omega laughed. “You’re a strange one, liebste.”
“Don’t call me that,” Zero glared.
“I’m sorry. How about I make it up to you?”
Before Zero could reply, Omega leaned forward and pressed his lips against his. Zero choked back a gasp and tried to pull away, pushing against Omega’s hands. Omega let his hands go, opting instead to wrap his arms around Zero’s slender form. Locked in his arms, Zero flailed about, punching Omega’s shoulders and chest, but nothing could get him to let go. The only resistance Zero could truly put up was refusing to open his lips.
A sudden knock on the door startled Omega enough to let him go, and Zero scrambled to get away. Omega pounced upon him, jerking Zero back into his embrace. Zero remained on his knees as Omega’s butt hit the floor with a thud, but now he straddled one of Omega’s legs and his right arm was caught in the original’s embrace, Omega resting his cheek against it and peering up at him with a mischievous glint in his red eyes.
It was a game to him! Zero felt his blood boil at the thought.
“Zero?” Ciel’s voice came through. “Are… are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” Zero snapped, even as he tried to get himself away from his original body. “Damn it, Omega…!”
“A-are you sure? He’s… he’s not…”
“Verdammt, Ciel! I said I’m fine!” Zero growled.
“We’re okay, mädchen,” Omega called out. “Zero is just flustered I beat him at a game.”
“Game?” Ciel’s voice wavered slightly. “Zero doesn’t play games…”
“Go away, Ciel,” Zero commanded. “I’m fine, Omega is fine, and I’m just going to beat him to a bloody pulp.”
“So he says,” Omega grinned, cuddling Zero closer to him. Zero swatted at him with his free arm, but it only made the red-eyed Reploid laugh.
Ciel seemed to consider what was said before replying, “I know you can take care of yourself, Zero… but if you-”
“Fortgehen!”
Ciel winced away from the door at Zero’s sharp tone. She didn’t understand German, and when Zero caught her trying to learn he actually discouraged it. But the tone alone told her all she needed to know, and she quickly ran down the hallway, tears in her eyes. Why was Zero being so cold and cruel to her?
Back in the room, Omega licked Zero’s bulging arm muscle. “I do believe you made her cry, liebste.”
“I told you not to call me that, now let me go-what are you doing?” Zero cried, grabbing the hand Omega tried to sneak up his vest. “Lassen sie mich los!”
“But you’re so warm and comfy,” Omega grinned, bending the knee of the leg Zero straddled.
An undignified squeak came from Zero as he slid down Omega’s thigh, forcing pressure against the armored torso piece that pressed against his more sensitive parts. A light blush stained Zero’s cheeks, and he could only half convince himself that he dragged his lower body back up Omega’s thigh to not touch his backside to the original’s front.
“Oh, enjoying ourselves finally?” Omega teased, his other hand sneaking down and unlatching Zero’s torso armor, making the obsidian-eyed Reploid gasp in protest and try to get away. “Now, now, liebste, you’ll be more comfortable without this on.”
“Let go,” Zero growled. He released Omega’s hand to grab hold of the armor, but Omega already pulled it off him. “Stop it!”
“Stop fighting me, Zero,” Omega said, his now-free left hand going back to its original intention of traveling up under Zero’s vest. “You’re so pent up with frustration; it’s amazing you aren’t screwing the human girl until she’s broke.”
“I would never sleep or rape, Ciel, you piece of-ah!” Zero froze as Omega’s right hand caressed him between his legs. “S-stop it…”
“You’re a little calmer now,” Omega purred, resting his chin on Zero’s now slack shoulder. “Yeah… you’ve gone too long without a good touch, hm?”
“I don’t… need yours,” Zero grounded out, even as to his dismay, his body responded well to Omega’s touches.
“Relax, liebste. Think of it as me thanking you for keeping me safe from your friends,” Omega smirked, his tongue snaking out to trace the curves of Zero’s ear.
Zero tilted his head away, but instead of quitting, Omega took it as invitation, and his teeth clamped on Zero’s neck. The undersuit repelled most of the bite, but the intention was clear, and Zero hissed. He grabbed the hand Omega was rubbing his chest with, giving it a threatening squeeze before releasing it.
“I hate you,” Zero growled, even as his voice tampered off into a pleasured purr when Omega rubbed him between his legs more firmly.
“For now you do,” Omega replied cheekily. He lifted his leg up a bit more, forcing Zero’s body to slide down his thigh again.
Zero groaned, leaning his back against Omega’s chest and sliding his body back up the original’s thigh. Omega smirked, biting down on Zero’s neck again, victory dancing in his eyes as Zero panted.
“Ich wede immer hasse dich, ” Zero hissed. “Always… !” he gasped, eyes rolling back and his hips jerking against Omega’s hand. It really had been a long time…
“Vielleicht später, ” Omega whispered heatedly, rubbing Zero harder and faster, making the slender Reploid in his arms gasp and moan. “But now? You love me.”
Zero whined in protest, the sound becoming a higher pitched cry of surprise as Omega surged forward and over, forcing Zero on his hands and knees. Omega let Zero’s right arm go so he could support himself, and the hand he didn’t have between Zero’s legs moved to his backside.
“N-no…” Zero gasped, eyes widen as he felt the tip of Omega’s finger wiggle against the covered entrance teasingly. His blush intensified, and he moaned when Omega pressed harder against it.
“We don’t have time to go all the way, liebste,” Omega muttered. “Since I’m sure that little girl will be back soon, but she’s human, and humans have to sleep…”
“You say that as if I’ll let you touch me again,” Zero growled.
“Your hands are free,” Omega chuckled. “Yet still you’re bent over for me.”
Before Zero would retort or even remedy the situation, Omega pressed harder against his guarded entrance and rubbed his more vigorously. Damning himself, Zero was unable to restrain the cry of pleasure and he pushed his hips back against Omega’s hands. Is this was X meant? Deep down, Zero was a nympho or something?
Pressure built quickly in Zero’s abdomen, and the quicker it came, the hungrier Zero was for it. In his dreams he had laid with X several times over, and satisfaction was true, yet there was something so much more to physical touch, and it had been so long since Zero felt like this.
Omega gave a snort of victory as he gave Zero a squeeze and a good press of his finger, and Zero’s back arched. Zero gave out a cry of release, biting down on his hand to cut it short and muffle the remains of it. His hips rocked against Omega’s hands haphazardly for several seconds, and Omega felt a warm dampness form against the palm of the hand between Zero’s legs.
Zero sagged when his release was over, and Omega released him to stand up and glance down at him. Zero took several ragged breaths to compose himself before rage again flared in him, directed at Omega and himself. How could he let himself be played with like that?
Zero scrambled back to his hands and knees, turning around with angry fire in his eyes. Omega bent down and Zero snatched a hold of his collar, intent on strangling him. Omega smirked, tucking one arm behind his back as the other also grasped Zero’s collar and drew him up for a deep, open-mouthed kiss.
Zero gasped, eyes wide. Omega pulled back from the kiss with a smug grin, brushing their lips together as, predictably, Ciel was knocking on the door again.
“Merken, ” Omega whispered huskily, making Zero shiver, “wir gehen ganzn weg heute abend. ”
“Like I said,” Zero snapped. “You say as if I’ll let you touch me again.”
“You will,” Omega grinned as Ciel knocked again, calling for Zero. “Don’t be ashamed, liebste… even Reploids need release once in a while.”
“It’s not happening, Omega,” Zero hissed before turning to the door. “Was wollen sie, Ciel? I fail to see how something could have changed from twenty minutes ago to now!”
Ciel stammered, and Omega went over to his designated couch with a smirk on his face. Zero straightened his vest with short, jerking movements and replaced his torso armor, even as he winced as the still warm mess he felt. He’d have to change… when Omega wasn’t in the room as well.
Remember, Omega had said, we’ll go all the way tonight.
Zero shuddered, although he wasn’t sure if it was excitement or not.
