Here's Captain John...

Or rather Captain Jack.

He's wearing a long gray coat, suspenders, along with a belt (what's the deal with that anyway?) and he's even straightened his hair.

"Hello all! The party can begin, safety is assured." Even the American-like accent is there.

"Hello Marek." Rosabel whispers in his ear, standing behind him. She loved to be creepy sometimes.

John gives a little jump and spins around.

"Oh, hey!" The American accent wobbles but stays in place. "How have you been, love?"

"I have been wonderful. And you? Been..sleeping good?" And the grin of hers is a bit evil around the edges.

Amaya soon arrives in her red and black geisha girl outfit that comes just to her knees. Her hair is up in a half-bun, chopsticks sticking out. She watched too much television.

Normally, she would've brought Alina, but she was fussy and sleepy. So, Amaya's father decided to play babysitter.

"How is Alina doing, Miss Smythe?"

Smile. "She is doing wonderful, Cael. Growing like a weed though." She eyes his costume. "You a bounty hunter?"

"Babies usually do." He should know, his Domina loves them. "More or less. Emmy thinks this" he looks down at himself. "is sexy. I don't buy it."

Magneto and Exodus are extremely used to costumes without having to be anyone else, but in this particular case, they're being themselves once upon a time. Magnus is wearing a simple, comfortable old scarlet cloak, and Paris has dusted off his original twelfth-century chainmail and such. And he's smiling

"Messrs. Himoto, Mrs. Himoto. So good to see you again."

Rosabel -who is just dressed in regular clothes- isn't known for always being polite. So, she will butt in. "Paris, I presume?" Yeah, gotta' love how Goddesses know everything, right?

Paris doesn't tend to be fond of deities except in very specific circumstances. "Yes. And you are?"

A smirk curls her lips. "Rosabel Winchester."

Several members of the Aristan Foundling Guard are present, in the colorful uniform tunics and leather armor of soldier's from their world's incarnation of Macedon, complete with curved swords. Just ignore the odd tear in the leather or minor lingering bloodstain.
They're all interested in the food and their Particular Friends. The great the hosts and hostess very friendlily.

What's more, Quin had successfully argued --more vehemently than anyone understood -- that in a secure location, the presence of many of them can substitute for one's actually being on security duty.
Unused to costume parties, Erasmus is just Very Dressed Up, an exceptionally nice toga with an embroidered hem. If asked, he'd say he's a politician.

"Good evening," Hanan says. He actually hasn't met any of the Aristans yet (he doesn't think so, anyway) so he figures he should mingle. He is dressed as a Priest.

...Uh. Was that blood?

Hey, they got the stains out as best they could. What were they supposed to do for costumes?

The Guards' heads turn. They're reasonably Impressed. "Good evening, sir." Foundling four-part harmony, spoken-word though it is.

"Pleased to meet you. I am Sir Nigel Hanan." There's a slight bow. He's curious as to which is Luc.

Emmy Winchester has arrived, Cael in tow.

Emmy couldn't resist coming to a costume party after all - and because she apparently lacks the ability to chose a costume from a shop and/or chosing her own outfit, she's taking Paris's advice.

She's dressed as a redheaded Cleopatra. Which isn't that much of a stretch, thank you. Her hair is up, done in "an elaborate Archaic Greek style, with a garland of five rosettes", which took far, far too long to do, if one would ask her.

Cael is beside her, carrying goodie bags. He's also dressed as a bounty hunter: battered black leather coat, even more battered jeans, boots. Essentially, everything is black, with the exception of subtle rust and emerald threads running throughout his vest. There's a couple of antique Winchester pistols at his hips as well. And, at Emmy's insistence, his hair is down and brushing just the tops of his thighs.
She's a goddess that adores kids. She considers the Himotos hers. Presents would be brought.

"Emmy. Cael. So good to see you again. Emmy, you look fantastic."

The reason Cael is carrying goodie bags is so Emmy can squeak and smile and hug Magnus. "Thank you. You look.. different. A good different." Smile. "I hadn't expected to see you t'night."

Emmy continues to be one of the few adults to do this. It's a little perplexing. "The Institute was rather lonely tonight, and I am told the food is excellent." He looks down at his sleeves. "It's quite a time to look back on. Nice while it lasted."
