Oh my goodness, we had like a full hour and 15 minute conversation about this in my Cross Cultural class! My teacher was fired up and even e-mailed the reporter and everything. It was quite the debate. There were people on both sides in my class too, people who thought the photos were completely irrevelant and people that thought they completely summarized race relations in the United States. it's crazy. i think the pictures do summarize today's race relations; we dont even realize half of what we think, it's just automatic. school has been good to me so far, as i hope it has to you!
