Tired
So my vacation is over now. Back to the grind tomorrow. I really hope most people decided to take off until next Monday, that would give me a lot of time to get organized. I didn't get much done last week like I had hoped.
At least most of the house is unpacked. The basement is still a mess. That's okay, we can't use it until we fix it up a bit. The drop ceiling in the room I was supposed to be able to keep my sewing stuff in is now sagging badly because the previous owner didn't put a support in for the fluorescent light fixture...they just laid it on the drop ceiling frame. Also, the storage room behind my sewing room is leaking a bit, so now my little room has become a dumping ground for everything that needs to be stored. Oh joy!
Tonight I got cranky at Conor and I feel bad. It is a long standing argument. I will tell him something and then he doesn't remember and gets irritated with me for being mad that he can't remember. Most of the time he says I didn't tell him anything at all. So I get mad because I think he isn't listening to me. So we just had another issue with this...and now he's downstairs thinking I am ridiculous and I am up here feeling stupid.
Ugh...this is dumb. I really need to go downstairs because I feel really bad. Anyways, I hope everyone had an enjoyable and safe new years!
