I'm so proud of myself
I'm sure everyone goes through this sometime in their life, where they go to the movies by themselves or go out to a restaurant all by their self with no one by their side. Well today I did something that I have never done in my entire life! I'm so excited about it; I just had to share LOL. I went to a restaurant all by myself!!! :D I know, sounds ridiculous right? LOL Well I've always been the kind of person who doesn’t like to go and do anything by myself. Ok Scratch that - I mean I can go grocery shopping by myself and go to the mall by myself and I can do all basic errands by myself, but I’ve never set foot in a movie theater or an actual sit down restaurant alone before! I don’t know why I'm always such a chicken shit. Maybe I think people will look at me weird, like I'm a loser for being all alone. I know people could give a rat’s ass of what I'm doing, cause let’s face it - The world doesn’t revolve around me, and what I'm doing, hahaha But I've always wanted to go to this restaurant that just opened up by my house. It’s called Famous Dave's BBQ, and since it opened a month ago, I keep telling myself; I should try their food. I keep telling others about it, cause I want to go, but it's crunch time now and I have nobody to come with me and I'm leaving to go back home in 3 more days, so I didn't want to miss out on going to Famous Dave's cause I'm too much of a wuss to just go in there all by myself. So today I was driving around doing a couple of errands, and I was thinking of going somewhere quick for lunch, and I passed by Famous Dave's. I ended up driving by it, and thought, “just go to Subway” cause I'm so shy to go eat in a restaurant all by myself. So I kept driving, and all of a sudden I said to myself, "Fuck it! I can’t get anyone to go with me, and I want to try this BBQ place, so I'm going by myself!!" So I flipped a bitch (made a U-Turn) and drove back to get me some Famous Dave's. I got the lunch special combo that had 2 BBQ Ribs, and a Piece of BBQ Chicken. It came with a side, so I got their Famous Fries, and it also came with Cornbread, a piece of corn on the cob and I got a side of Drunkin' Apples which were really good. There was no possible way I finished all my food, cause there's just so much of it, but I wanted to try a little bit of everything. And I must say it was quite tasty! So if anyone has a Famous Dave's near them, and you're in the mood for some BBQ, I'd recommend going there. It was a little pricey, but since I got a lunch special it wasn’t too bad. But you figure anywhere you get BBQ is kind of pricey for Ribs or Chicken anyway right? Anywhoo... I Just wanted to share my little rendezvous out all by myself. Next on the Menu, I think I'm going to go watch a movie all by myself. I've gotta get over these dumb fears of doing these things by myself lol I feel like such a big baby sometimes LOL!!
