This season was quite neatly summed up by Lady Mary, when she burst in on Sibyl and Branson (alone. together. at night. in a hotel room.):
"At least nothing's happened, thank god!"
AT LEAST NOTHING'S HAPPENED.
Because, god forbid, in a drama that's supposed to be, well, dramatic, you wouldn't want anything to happen. :///
Also, unrelatedly: how fucking old is Lord Grantham's dog at this point? It's been eight years and that dog's still remarkably sprightly!
Also also unrelatedly: I know I'm supposed to hate Sir Richard, but... but... he's
Ser Jorah and I have so many feeeeeelings about Ser Jorah. ;__;
FWIW, I'm not sure which was the more pointless TV storyline this week: "Daisy makes a cake" in Downton or "Zach installs Dropbox" in The Good Wife. I call a draw. :|
