Being Erica #4.01
I actually kind of hated last season of Being Erica, but then the show goes and gives me everything I wanted but didn't know how to ask for. Favourite premiere so far, probably.
I always found the Josh storyline (and the implication that he was in love with Erica) potentially fascinating, and it became frustrating that the show never really allotted enough time to delve into it. So how refreshing to use the time travel theme to literally go back in time and address everything that was going on in Josh's psyche while Erica was standing around grinding her teeth.
I think it could be a genuinely inspired plotline -- almost fanfic-esque, in fact -- and, if it produces as much pathos as this season opener did, it could be incredibly compelling.
Also, I kind of 'ship Erica/Josh and I have done since the blackout. Which isn't the point of the storyline AT ALL, but... shhh. :/
