Reading Adam Rippon's latest
journal entry did make me feel a little better about his prospects for next season. He's training a Quad Lutz! He's working with new choreographers! He's... happier?

I am still so *sadface* over his split with Brian Orser.
In a previous interview, Adam seemed to imply that Brian took his (Adam's) failures on the ice really personally, and Adam felt that he'd failed him as a person by not skating well. (Which... wow. That's intense.)
In this entry, though, Adam implies that Brian didn't have his (Adam's) best interests at heart. Which... kind of sounds like a different thing? Like Brian was all in it for the glory and couldn't deal with Adam failing?
Argh. It's so difficult. I think Adam's been really classy about the split... which unfortunately leads me to obsessively parse everything he says for hidden meanings.
