Modern life is weird, isn't it?
Even just a few years ago, the idea of casually having Chinese TV on in the background would have been unfathomable to me, but that's exactly what I'm doing now as I watch the figure skating at the 4 Continents Championships ( streaming info, for those who care).
(Ohhh snap: it's 2010 again already and Davis and White are getting beaten by Virtue and Moir.)
Speaking of taking baby steps into a new world: I finally bought a Kindle. This was quite a difficult decision for me (LOLOL), but I finally made myself realize that, upon receiving delivery of my Kindle, scary men would not be dispatched to my house to confiscate all my book-books. ;) Also, as an aspiring author who has issues with the way major publishing houses are run, I feel like I should embrace e-books sooner, rather than later. Eep. Technology!
Anyway: if anyone has any tips for Kindle, please let me know. I'll probably spend the weekend figuring out how to get it to do all the things I want it to do.
