Pretty Little Liars #1.10

This is the poem that convinced Aria that Ezra is in love with her? Really? "Gold falafel"? Really?

The scene where she confronted him in the classroom was wonderfully fraught (Lucy and Ian's chemistry comes and goes, which makes me think the director has to work hard to get good scenes out of them). However, I was disappointed that we didn't get any payoff as a result of Noel walking in on them.

Ezra was super-creepy in the later scene in the car ("It's cheap / A foreign car" -- sorry, I'll stop). Hey, buddy, leaning to kiss a girl and whispering "forgive me" even after she's told you she can't forgive you = creepy. Oh well, I sort of like that the show acknowledges Aria/Ezra is creepy.

I also enjoyed Ezra's ridiculous superiority (concealing an inferiority complex) to Noel because he's *gasp* a jock. I'm glad Ezra is smart enough to realize that Aria wouldn't look twice at him if they were both 16.

Oh wait.

Were there other characters in this episode? (I jest. Hanna is still the only one I'd actually like to hang out with if this were real life. "Is this side of my face fatter than this side?" Hehh.

Don't die, Hanna!)
