Big Love #3.08
I think I may have underestimated just how invested I am in Nicki/Ray. I spent most of the (admittedly awesome) confrontation-with-the-Henricksons-in-the-street scene either screaming “noooooooo” or covering my eyes with my hands. The way that Ray shouted at Nicki was painful (though realistic) - and it was even more so when he later listed her crimes and then hung up on her. Wahhhhh. I 'shipped them. :(
I was really hoping that, once he’d calmed down, Ray might forgive Nicki and be her ‘safe haven’ as her marriage broke down. (Also: angsty sex, please.) But Nicki showing up at Albi’s house instead was so deliciously twisted that I am appeased. The two of them have such a strange dynamic and I’m glad we’ll get to see more of it.
In regards to the rest of the show: Joey and Wanda broke my fucking heart. The end.
