I ended up watching the entire end credits, which I never do, because I was so slack-jawed at how sad the end of the episode was. Gah.
It's distracting how much the actress playing Rhonda has grown up over the show's extended hiatus between seasons 2 and 3 (she used to be so chubby-faced!) and, generally, I feel the actress has lost some of her shrill/manic charm, which made the character originally great. Still, I hope this isn't the last we see of her.
I can't believe Roman didn't get convicted. That was... rather anti-climactic. :/ I know most people loved last week's episode and, while it was action-packed (as compared to the slooow pace of the first and second eps), I felt there was a lot of action-for-the-sake-of-action, which didn't actually have any consequences (e.g. Wanda trying to drown herself). Ehh.
Basically: this season needs to pick up the pace, but in an authentic way.
LMAO @ the scene with Sarah, Heather and Ben at the prospective adoptive parents' house. SSA! (And Heather's faaaace! God, Tina Majorino is awesome. :D) However, I sort of resent Ben being crowbarred into this storyline, rather than getting a story of his own. Remember Ben's hilarious sXe beffy, Jason (played by Kyle Gallner)? Come back, Jason! ;__;
I loooved Margene acting all teenage and playing her music too loud (the scene where she danced to Scissor Sisters was weirdly brilliant). I can only hope this leads to her having sex with Ben, in an effort to reclaim her youth. :x
