It wasn't quite the smooth, soft-focus manoeuvre she'd imagined.
It seriously amazes me how you always manage to capture the perfect mood for the whole fic in such simple moments. That's what I love the most about this, I think. Although I also love how the dialogue is beautifully teenage and the characters are so emotionally immature. This is just great.
I would say I love you, but you already knew that.
I have a million favorite things about this, and I don't even know where to start. It's so sweet. Shockingly, stupidly sweet.
...But first off, the cherry lube, because Cook is so charmingly grody. Plus, I love that Emily thinks it's kind of gross generally, but she's not all that weirded out (Best friends!). Other things: I love the dropping aspirin bit at the start, and how it comes through that Emily may be quiet, but she's also hilarious ("Uh, yeah. We just destroyed my sister's side of the room, which, by the way, is kind of like foreplay for me, so I want you to come over here and fuck me."). They are clearly such dumb kids (Moving that dresser in front of the door is a fire hazard, you guys.), but you made them lovably dumb.
This is so amazingly in character. It felt just like Cook and Emily. I especially love all of the dialogue, and also the little part at the end where Emily has nice tits and Naomi possibly checks them out. Seriously awesome!

"I dunno," Cook said thoughtfully. "Sex is pretty funny, babe. All that moaning and groaning. Willies and hoo-ha's. I can't promise anything."
You made Cook likeable to me. Whilst remaining in character. How'd that happen?!
You are awesome.
