Cobra Starship - Guilty Pleasure (video) CS is really bringing the joy this week. *happy sigh* I especially love the part around 1:18 when Gabe throws the newspaper. His little moment of "oh shit" as he realizes it has hit something. Hee! Also, after he puts his hands on Alex and Ryland's knees, I love Alex's glance askance.
Even though the world is crying out for GSF (why don't you want to write Gabe his love stories?!? WHY), I am really most interested in Alex/Ryland/Gabe. Because Alex and Ryland are clearly in love (*tinhat* ...actually, I am not really a tinhat; they both have irritatingly pretty girlfriends; I'm happy for them... whatever), but they can't admit it to themselves or each other. Obviously, I can't conceive of a world where Gabe hasn't had sex with them both. Yet I imagine Gabe's relationships (or "relationships") with each of them to be very, very different. I imagine Alex as pretending to himself that he loves Gabe just to make sense of the situation (the Alex in my head is a total sap /o\), while Ryland goes to the opposite extreme and practically denies that there's anything between him and Gabe (they just have sex... sometimes... it's nothing! nothing at all!).
I don't know. That clearly made no sense. This is why I'm writing fic. To put down my crackpot theories about CS intraband relationships in a more meaningful way. :|
I was amused that there was a rather slashy mic-sharing picture of Danny and Dougie from McFly on the front page of my local paper yesterday. It was such a tenuous article, though. It was about McFly filming their new video in Bath. THAT'S ALL. Front page news, wtf. Also, since the single is currently out, I can't imagine they even filmed in Bath recently. It's clearly just a case of The Bath Chronicle pandering to the fangirls! MADNESS.
I have watched TV this week and I have absolutely no thoughts on any of it. Humm. I guess it wasn't a great week for TV. I've been feeling nostalgic for OZ recently. (Someone buy me the DVDs? ...Um.) I kind of want to be
Shirley Bellinger when I grow up. Only less racist and crazy.
I'm excited for new Boosh next month, but a time slot of Thursdays at 10:30 on BBC3? LAME. You couldn't even move it to BBC2? Gah!
