Out of nowhere...

Feb 02, 2005 11:32

It's a lovely 11:32 in the morning and i have finally snagged some washer and dryers for once. Seriously, it's a fucking war in this dorm to clain a washer and dry for a mere hour and a half. But i skipped running today to do my laundry. It was driving me crazy! but that's means tons of crunches tonight. yuck.

I must look good in a bathing suit in a month and honestly i've been slacking. but i talked to kristen yesterday, and she made me feel better about it. I have never been very comfortable image wise in a bikini (i'm not afraid to admit it) and although i have been trying hard to get used to it, it's still not the same. And i know in florida, alllll the girls wear two pieces. but kristen said i should fuck them and enjoy what i like. So i think i'm sticking to my one pieces for now (i'll still bring my bikini of course) but they do show off my boobs quite well. So i'll be fine tanning in the sun in a month. yaaaaaay! i'm so excited!!!!

I have decided since my weekend are consistently uneventful and i am tired of being bored waiting around for people to come home or even make plans, i have decided to take the matter into my own hands. I began thinking what is so great about a city? (things you can do without being 21...trust me, there isn't much). What is something i wouldn't be able to do in the suburbs? And then it hit...the theatre. Plays, musicals (i know i know, it's better in person, not listening to sue's music), ballets, museums and ect. I love them all amazingly. And i don't think people realized how much i love it. I love getting out and dressed up a bit and having a night on the town enjoying the shows. So I made a ton of decisions and Sue and i have a huuuuge list of what we want to do.

This weekend we are going to see the Tempest (shakespeare people) at Boston Center for the Arts. It's hosted by Boston Theatreworks and the great thing about this theatre is that they have student discounts which is fucking cool. So i only have to pay 20-25 bucks to go to a play (which is really good in boston). Then the next weekend I am hanging out with mel on friday and going out to the Simmons Soiree on saturday night with the girls. Yes, people I'm going to a dance. And buying a cute dress to go with it. Which btw, i need to go dress shopping again. But anyways, yeah, it's good. The weekend after, Sue and I are going to see Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? a comedy play. We splurged a bit, but it's supposed to be awesome.

The last weekend in february my parents are coming in for the weekend! I'm so excited b/c it means free food and getting off campus. My dad has some clients to see on friday so my mom and i have decided to go to a day spa. oooh yeah! i can get a manicure and pedicure which of course is also fucking awesome. I found a Naked Fish restaurant in boston ( they loooove that restaurant, some you might know b/c i have dragged your asses there with us). on saturday, they want to walk around the city and see random art musuems and galleries. No problem for me. That night they are taking me to see the Producers, a musical comedy, at the colonial theatre. So I am really happy and excited about that!! :)

Schools all right as usual, I'll update about that at a later time. Nothing too exciting.
