I feel that way about the mostly-demise of LiveJournal. I feel completely lost on Facebook. Though I've been having to use it every day lately to promote my film release and communicate with all the folks over here in the UK I'm visiting who use it instead of email.
I'm going to try to join in with the 'post on LJ more' resolution once I'm back home next month. Maybe I'll even try to get to a proper computer some time this week and do a big post about my current big adventure!
Good point! I have LJ friends who I only see on FB and have no idea what's really going on in their lives, and clearly no idea of what's going on in their head.
That's because I suck and haven't updated LiveJournal in months.
Actually, I'll be kind to myself and say that it's not so much because I suck that I haven't updated LiveJournal as that I've been very busy with the film release and with no idea whatsoever how to put into words all the emotions it brings up. I will try soon. In the meantime, if you'd like to see what's going on with my film, (irony alert!) check it out on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/NoManifestoFilm And add me there as well if you'd like to, I am the Elizabeth Marcus who is friends with a bunch of your friends ;)
How many times I've said the same thing! (that I'm a bad LJ friend)
Usually I'm just glad to hear from you at all. And that even though we've never met or talked in person or anything, you still have always trusted me enough to keep me around. It sounds so simplistic and trite at times, but... I worry about you.
If this thing is still open - I do not hang around on Facebook, or any other of those popular social media sides. Doesn't even need to be friending, just coming along once in a while. And even if the political stuff is nothing for one's nose, I still got music posts.

Yeah, I understand the need for FB sometimes but it's just.... not "me"!
