Charismatic boy

So today, on the bus to UMass, amongst the group of people who got on at the Academy of Music stop was one of the most beautiful boys I've ever seen. He looked as though he was college-aged. He had such piercing and focused green eyes, a lot of determination there. He sat somewhere behind me, and I felt sort of awkward but I couldn't help turning around once in a while to look at him. He was wearing 2 amulet necklaces over a black sweatshirt and black pants and a gauged earring in his right ear - an outfit similar to that of many Northampton High School boys (I have always wondered what it was about NoHo that makes so many of the kids here dress entirely in black. In most communities goth is a subculture. In Northampton, goth is the culture). He held his skateboard upright while the bus rolled past the Hampshire mall. It turns out I was right about Northampton High, he got off at that stop and started walking placidly towards the school.

I've been thinking about that all day.

Wow. Talk about charisma...
