Jon seemed to have mixed reactions about raising an adopted child. The conversation under the cut.
Misti: see, here's my new life plan
Misti: I'm going to adopt a little chinese girl, and you and me and Jackie and Tian are going to live in a house together and raise her

Jon: what with abortion being partially outlawed i'm sure there'll be tons of anemic white kids borne to young white sluts

Jon: dude we'd all have parenting styles that were too different.

Misti: but I think that's part of the beauty
Misti: like, the variety within the four of us
Misti: we could teach the kid like, 6 different languages!
Misti: we have a variety of educational backgrounds!
Misti: you can teach her about media
Misti: and Jackie has the education background
Jon: no i think he'd just be way confused
Misti: and Tian can teach math
Jon: at least none of us would abuse the kid
Misti: and I could teach about the beauty of the natural world
Jon: i think Tian would be overly condemning of the kid

Misti: well, I don't want to adopt anyone for a long time anyway
Misti: but this is a delightful idea to me

Misti: I'm afraid of pain
Misti: and I don't need my own
Misti: there are plenty of unloved children in the world
Misti: I can make a place for one of them
Misti: and we can live together in a big blue house!

Jon: I've always said one of the reasons abortion exists is because people don't want to adopt
Jon: and that might be a genetic thing.

Misti: it's still a nice idea
Misti: we can all cuddle on a big 'ole couch!

Jon: i just always feel odd about girls who don't want kids, but at least you want to adopt

Misti: I'm just not big on all that messy and painful stuff... and your body going through changes and hormonal imbalances
