It's happened. The thing I feared most. My friend was outed to her parents by her brother. No, not just her brother. Her twin. The boy who spent months next to her in the womb. And for no good reason, other than perhaps the knowledge was damaging to his poor little Catholic mind. Now he, the golden child, is being treated like the victim. God forbid she say something mean to him, or get angry with him. It is, after all, a very stressful time for him.
And my friend? She gets to go to counseling, and pretty much has her life taken away.
