Today I am grateful that Doug will be moved to a rehab center in Winchester (much closer to he and
rassayana 's home) tomorrow.
Also, Doug as quoted in
emcic 's lj: "He is so grateful to all of you and the powers that be for helping support his wife and he felt the energy like a hand keeping him here. Not to mention the strength of his thoughts for his wife. Again! Thank you all so very much for all you've done for him and
rassayana . He's healing and doing well.. the worst is pretty much over. Now just dealing with the slow process of getting the muscles, bones, and nerves to re-grow and relearn old movements. That's going to take time and no little bit of frustration."
Sometimes blessings are like little flickering candle flames, sometimes they're like bonfires. It seems appropriate, somehow, that the blessing in Doug's life is of bonfire-visible-from-space proportions....it's easy to be grateful for the illumination.
