...5 months later
well it's been a while. A lot has happened. My parents have moved in, the upstairs bedroom is completed, and I got a promotion at work. My fiance changed jobs yet again and my cat died. Patiently waiting for Spring to arrive so I can get outside and dig around in the dirt and start the garden, flower and vegetable. My health has been weird, sometimes I barely have enough energy to get out of bed. I wish I could feel like I used to feel. I wish I looked like I used to look. The aging process is going to be an adventure.
Alina or Alnea as I like to call her is going through a rough time as of late. Breaking up with her boyfriend of 3 years and having to see him start dating again. Seems her luck with men is as poor as mine. But I finally found someone that loves me for who I really am and not who I feel I have to be to please him. As Ali moves through her life she will experience joy and heartbreak. These life lessons define who we are and who'll we'll become. She has seen me teeter on the edge but have enough strength to pull myself back and carry on. I know she stronger than me and she has a wonderful network of friends to hold her up. For them I am grateful.
