this weekend - recap
Friday
First, tried to see the movie Shop Girl at the Polk Theatre; got there and learned it wasn't playing until Saturday night. Next, tried to see Tristian&Isolde (or any good movie, really) at the Cobb Cinemas at Lakeside Village, but all the times were completely wrong. Walked around for a bit, went in a few stores, then came back and decided to paint pottery. Mac made an oriental noodle bowl, Lindsay did a coffee mug, and I painted a soap dish. After that, we were hungry, so we went to find a Wendy's. Yummy.
Saturday
Gym at 8.30 to test out the new Body Attack class; work from 10-3. After that I met Lindsay downtown for the Rock, Walk, and Jog race sponsored by the Library. Linds and I had a wonderful time trying to control our two animals for the 1 mile jog with your dog event, and came in 2nd to last place, haha. After that, I went home to shower and eat, then fell asleep very early.
Today
Church, as mandated by my parents, gave blood in the parking lot after service. Met Lindsay + Mac at Richard's for some nourishment before we headed to the mall. Two shirts from Old Navy, one t-shirt and jacket from AE. Oh, && we're getting a Hollister! Lindsay and I about died. After the mall I came home to work on some Calc problems, then back to Lindsay's for dinner, the showing of Mac's Demo Reel DVD, and last week's episode of 24.
