Flogging Molly anyone?
I don't know who likes them or not, but I didn't really know much about them till I went to a film screening somewhat recently. It was for Red Roses and Petrol, the new film with Malcolm McDowell (uhh, Clockwork Orange fame?). Anyways, their music was featured THROUGHOUT the film so I thought Irish people and fans of Irish music and them should be aware!
Actually the film has a lot of Irish elements to it. I'm British (I know, the "evil" side) but it was still interesting to me to see how the Irish cope with things and what they value.
I mostly liked the music and if anyone else has anymore irish music recommendations, please let me know! Thanks!
