My wonderful friend bdot is a first grade teacher at a very low-income school, and she is in great need of a carpet for her classroom. She has put in a proposal for her carpet at DonorsChoose.org... at this not-for-profit web site, teachers submit project proposals for materials or experiences their students need to learn. These ideas become classroom reality when concerned individuals (OMG THAT'S YOU!), choose projects to fund.
