Relic's Double Chocolate Alliance

So Mary and Todd were just here and had the distinction of being our first houseguests ever in our new guestroom/office, so we had a "game night" gathering with my brother and his wife to mark the occasion. We finally moved the foosball table upstairs, and I made a ton of food.
Since MARY wanted to learn how to make a cake, I decided that we'd make a World of WarCraft cake. Someone made a Horde cake which is really awesome, so in honor of Tim, Mary & Todd's new WoW guild, I made an Alliance cake. I made this decision before I saw the Alliance crest. o_0
It took me about 20 hours to bake and decorate, and I used 7 boxes of devils food cake mix. (Yeah, it's cheating, but it's still yummy chocolate cake.) The silver and gold dusts were really really messy, so it didn't turn out perfect, but it's still pretty cool I think. Mary did a lot of dishes and was very helpful!
