Tutorial #62: Reflection

1.Choose your picture resize it and crop it. this is the picture I used.



2.Create a selecdtive color layer:
reds: -62 +44 +73 0
greens: +100 -79 +100 +28
blues: +100 +13 -100 0


3.Set this texture by innocent-lexys to lighten 30% opacity.



4.Set a black and white gradient map to darken, 52% opacity.



5.Create a new layer, fill it with color #81D0F4 and set it to darken, 63% opacity.



6.Copy the base and put it in the top of all the layers. Set this layer to darken.



7.Create a new color balance layer:
midtones: +21 -2 -6
shadows: -6 +5 +6
highlights: +11 0 -9



8.Create a new layer, fill it with color #88CCC8 and set it to overlay, 45% opacity.



9. Create a new layer, fill it with color #EF979C and set it to color burn, 40% opacity.


10. Create a new selective color layer:
reds: -44 +55 +89 0
greens: +100 +40 -31 0
whites: +100 -8 +6 0
neutrals: -4 -1 -4 0


11.Set this texture by innocent-lexys to soft light 38% opacity.



12.Set this texture by innocent-lexys to multiply 17% opacity.



13. Set this texture by piemin to screen.



14.It's time to cut the borders. First merge all the layers (Ctrl+E). Now you can use the rounded rectangle tool. Create a rectangle, merge it with a blank layer but not with the icon we made(put a new layer and ctrl+E), select the rounded rectangle, go to selection>inverse.Go to the icon layer and drop the selection. It's done. You have to save the icon as .png or .gif
