Elections...
I am begining to realize that the day after elections I am my most cynical. Once again the center has trounced everything progressive. My candidate for gov got his ass handed to him; the supreme court judge i really wanted was creamed (although with a name like Indira Rai-Choudney how can you win); lastly the state rep I wanted had no hope (ironic, his name was Everyhope). So much for local politics. I keep thinking that this is the only time in my life where I won't be cynical about politics but with the way things are going perhaps that time is coming to an end.
