Deadly Sins and a T-Shirt
My deadly sin for the day...?
Definitely: Gluttony. An old friend of mine, a friend ssince he joined myraworld in 1985, had celebrated his birthday today - with many of the guests more involved in WoW than in classic P&P versions of D&D nowadays - and a sizeable number of guests kids of the guests, all below 10 years of age, so perfect for eileenw and gwenw, who lenew, ellifaey and I brought along.
It was nice - just too much of everything, even too much vegetarian barbecue food for me, as my part-time vegetarian daughter was too busy with some of the many other foods on offer, and I had lots of other things to choose from as well. And chose. And ate. And ate... well, I'll spare you the details - if you've seen the perfectly well done Peter Greenaway movie "The Belly of an Architect" you have the general idea. Or if you remember the classic mint in Monty Python's "Meaning of Life"...
If you don't remember, do see the films, then return for the T-Shirt. I found this particularly fitting for some situations and hope at least three of my readers have the humor to see the fun in this one too. It reads "Mein Psychiater hat mir die Freundschaft gekündigt", which roughly translates as "My psychiatrist cancelled our friendship".
