Another productive, happy day! I say that with the most sincerity too.
Slept in, did a speed workout on the treadmill (Yes, the treadmill), worked 12:30-9, and have spent the rest of the night working on grad stuff.
Dr. Bruininks informed me that she's almost finished with my recommendation!
Dr. Peszka informed me that she finished the recommendation...and FURTHER had to emphasize the irony of the whole thing because she wrote over 2700 characters and Stony Brook's online app thing only accepted 1000. HA. so she wrote me an email about how she is continuing to have the same problem I had in her class about word limits. It's so funny. beeeeeeeck.
I uploaded my statement of purpose FINALLY, with my NCUR abstract attached.
Julie is sending me a hendrix brochure to attach to my resume.
AND the lady in Registrar is faxing AND mailing both un-updated and updated versions of my transcript.
So all bases are covered.
This is really happening guys.
What if I actually get in!!!??? All expenses paid. I can buy a new car and actually make it places. What a new concept.
OH, just in case I haven't shared this with you...this is why I'm so proud to live in New England:
http://www.boston.com/yourlife/specials/giving/events/santa_speedo/ I still have so much I want to do this break. Thank god it's not even Christmas yet.
