You can see she's a beautiful girl, she's a beautiful girl.

After aprroximately 3 years, at 3rd June 2010, 3.25am, I have completed the entire series of Ugly Betty. And probably the only TV series I've ever completed, ever.

No one watches Ugly Betty anyway so I doubt anyone cares, but here's my two cents worth.

The finale was not as good as I expected, and maybe a little predictable, which made it sort of a lackluster ending. But I guess they have to tie things up and bring it to a nice, neat conclusion, and I can't think of any other way it could have ended.

The show has been kind to me the past 3 years, providing heart-warming entertainment that doesn't come often anymore. Shows nowadays like True Blood and Gossip Girl only have two elements: excessiveness and drama. There's just isn't that feel-good message that leaves you restoring faith in humankind after you watch it. Only scandal, sex and sin. Which is sad; sometimes when you've had a crappy day and you want to tune out your problems, watching more terrible things that people do may just leave you feeling even crappier.

Sighh. Why do things have to come to an end. Now, to the quest for an another instrument of procrastination/escapism..
