My new car
Hey all, long time no talk! Well it's summer! I'm so glad and relieved to be out of school. Don't get me wrong, school was AMAZING this year and it was UNQUESTIONABLY the most amazing year of my life, but it's nice to now have the stress of grades off of my back for a couple of months. And then I'm a senior, and then high school is done! Woo! ...but then comes college, lol. Boo. Oh well, college has a lot more freedom, so I'm sure it'll be fun.
ANYWAY! My Nova is gone!!! We sold it! That car has been my life for four years and now it's gone! But it had to be done, and as one of my friends said to me, "It sucks and we're all gonna miss it, but oh well, life goes on.." so that's how I'm looking at it now. The reason we had to get rid of it is my dad is moving to Kentucky in August and I'll be living here on my own, and neither of us could afford to keep it. So we had to sell it.
My "daily driver" which is a 1997 Mercury Mountaineer is also for sale, but we're having horrible luck on anyone buying it. The reason we're selling this one is because I would have to continue paying the Mountaineer off, PLUS insurance on it, even after my dad moves. And I can't afford that. So I have to get rid of it. It's in PERFECT condition and there is NOTHING wrong with it, but nobody is buying it. I don't know, it sucks.. it's up for $5,800 if anyone might be interested.
So in preparing for the Mountaineer to be sold at any time, I already bought a replacement "daily driver" from a friend of mine. It's a 1992 Grand Am. Right now, it's TOTALLY stock and had an oil leak and all this other shit when I first got it. But we fixed the oil leak, cleaned the hell out of the engine, waxed the car, and cleaned the hell out of the inside. Then I went to Circuit City today and bought a $1,300 dollar sound system. I'm so fucking excited. I've got two bass-boxes in the trunk and everything, it's got so much bass the car fucking wobbles. I love it! I'm going all out on this car, too. Next comes a body kit, after that comes the rims, after that (IF I still want it) a wing for the back. And then I'll start getting into the "extras" with the neons and shit. But either way, I'm looking forward to pimpin this car out. I'll show pictures of the progression as time goes on.
