Drag Race
Hey people! Wow, it's been an awesome past few days! School has been going pretty good. Nothing special or new, but there hasn't been any bad days, which is good. After school for the past few days I've been doing a serious amount of work on the Nova. What's also been really cool about it is I've had a friend over each and every day too who is just as enthusiastic about the Nova as I am, and has been helping me work on it for the past three days in a row. So it's been really nice to be able to take a break from work and be able to chill with a friend. There's not too terribly much work left to be done on the car, but still a few days worth. It's amazing because when we started this work on Sunday or Monday afternoon, the original goal was to put the car back together how it was before it was taken apart (for the roll-cage to be put in). But as we've started putting things back in, we've re-done most of the interior of the car. ...customized the door-panels, re-carpeted the back, and more. It's really a cool thing for me to walk into my garage now and see the souped-up car I've had for years, but it has NEVER looked so good. We re-did the entire inside and it all looks like new. Anyway, my first race is on April 9th, as I've said in previous posts. I'm excited as hell, but very nervous too. I recently got my hair cut decently short so I don't get too hot in my fire-suit and helmet. So I'm getting ready for the big day in more ways than one! Lol Just as a reminder, if you have any interest in coming to watch me race, just let me know and I can give you the information on where and what time, etc. The more people that come, the better, so don't be shy! :-P Just a few days left until I get my driver's license back! Finally! Lol It's been SIX MONTHS!!! I'm so looking forward to being able to legally drive again! Alright, that's enough for now, I guess! Bye all, much love! Comment!
