Mark Morris is a genius. His company, Mark Morris Dance Group, is one of the best (if not the best) modern dance companies in the world. In addition, they engage in a multitude of community programs. One of them is a ground breaking Dance for PD. A collaboration between the Mark Morris Dance Group and the Brooklyn Parkinson Group, offers dance classes for people with Parkinson’s disease at the Mark Morris Dance Center, throughout New York City, and in more than 100 communities in 11 countries around the world.
