What an awesome battle guys!! I loved iconning HP again and the caps were great :D It's always great to see how diverse the results are in the end. I'm so glad you guys wanted to join :D (sorry for keeping you waiting for the post this week!)
nupmetal, I so admire your creativity! Even your most simple icons look complex, it's amazing what you think of. My absolute favourite is 48, gorgeous colouring and lightning, the whole icon is just such an eyecatcher. And that font is great btw! I also really adore 28 because wow, those colours <3 I had the hardest time making the colouring work for the cap and I love the muted colours you came up with. They also work for 44 btw, it's like I'm looking at something from an old news paper, love that style! 10 is really great with the contrast between the yellow and Harry. And I love what you did with 46, again jealous of the creativity!!
fulminant, your colouring is just wow! I don't know how you do it, they are all so shiny and bright but without being over-vibranced (if that's a word?). I am completely in love with 5, the colours are to die for and I love the painty effect around Luna. Also I think you adjusted the ratio on that one (?) and that works so much better! I thought the angle of the cap was a little strange but in your icon it works perfectly. 24 is really awesome as well, even though it kind of different from your usual style. The whole composition and atmosphere in that icon is briliant. Other favourites of mine are 19 (so simple and yet so.. shiny again) and 22 (great texture use and I love that kept Ron in it, it's such a storytelling icon).
