Starters, some updates on the doujins I was planning (not that anyone who reads here should care but OH WELLS 8D It's fun to blurt somewhere, and since none of this is set to stone yet, it's probably better I dumped here) I tried getting the SasuNaru book to roll, only to find that I am completely incapable of drawing both Naruto and Sasuke without resorting to hugely deformed chibis. Since Sasuke sort of looks like Mukuro, I couldn't get myself to do that either- so I played about with the possibility of a 1827 only to actually.....have a really happy time with it (for now).
I'm not sure (again) if I'm going to continue with it but since it's the only thing working for me at the moment I might as well. From what the thumbnail drawings I've done are building up to, this is sort of...fluffish crack with a 1 second angst and a happy trip to the KHR past (...you'll understand what I mean once I finish hahahah; )
Anyhoo. Don't you just hate it when you draw something, and out of pure laziness you keep away from it for some time- only to realize you can no longer work on it due to how awfully out disjointed the drawing's proportions look X'D?
Anyway I suppose I'm glad my livejournal viewer ship is exceedingly low- since if i do feel like posting this coming picture up all DA all fixed up and such, it would STILL come as a bit of a surprise (kinda) so...yea.

I don't really understand why- actually I sort of do I suppose but it still doesn't fail to baffle me anyway just because it's so predictable, but I mean, when you get dissed for being like, similar in artistic merits to another person, usually there is a reason for it (aka. Your work IS similar in artistic merits to another person) but once you go out and spread you unhappiness about it (and all due respect, you have every right to do so. I'm not saying you're wrong at ALL) the first thing the readership would say is "My god, they are so stupid, your work looks NOTHING LIKE [insert artist here] and you are truly original!!!"
When...honestly the only reason why there were differences is due to the fact that you weren't capable of imitating it completely...
I mean style imitation...I'm going to stretch my tolerance boundaries a little bit and say it's not WRONG. It's very natural and sure you can be overrated for being 'unoriginal' and all but that doesn't really stop you from being good right? I mean...when it comes to imitation, everyone becomes so utterly SERIOUS about it, and I'm including myself into this equation here because there is SOMEBODY I really despise (again no names, cause the drama will be completely beyond what I can personally handle XD the paradox is, I'd probably enjoy it, but I should exercise some self control now that I'm p0pul4r on DA *gag*) and my biggest reason for it, asides from the fact she spews bullshit and crap out of her keyboards and fingers every moment she's online, is really the fact that she's only capable of doing things moderately right only when copying numerous another people's styles. I mean it OOZES this tacky try-hard depth of fakeness that I can't stand it at all, but that's a totally different story (and...honestly not related to the reason I'm rambling. Yes this is somebody else altogether).
My point is, people freak out so easily about similarities (they probably don't draw- or are crap at drawing themselves, since all artists know that imitation has to occur at some point in time) and people try so hard to ignore their existences when its pointed out. Like seriously, both sides, CHILL. It is what it is, and people in general are capable of improving (asides from tacky person whom-I-shall-not-name...oh and ryo0oki, and amuria, and ramy, and lavender-ice, they're like exceptions to the worldly rule of improvement. At least, for now >P) and imitation, copying, similarities...they HAPPEN and it shouldn't make you hate someone for it (again exceptions apply).
And now some much happier news.
GONBE IS BACK ;_; Hong Kong feels so much more fuzzy and happy again, and since Gonbe's staying for a while I'm even happier in an awfully selfish sort of way. Then again...a bit of the mixed feelings thing, I hope Gonbe's happy where she's at. Not at all sure how Laura shall react to this but...bugger.

Oo, and RO scares me. I think I should turn on my "introversion" mode and never ever flirt with internet peeps for lvlling help again.
